DASA EXECUTIVE OF THE WEEK (MALE)

Stage Voice: Hi this is Stage Voice. It's nice having you here. Kindly tell us your full name?

Lish: My name is Jegede Tomiwa Ifeoluwa known as Lish

Stage Voice: It's nice having your here Tomiwa

Stage Voice: Kindly tell us your state or origin and where you currently reside?

Lish: My State of origin is Ilesha but where I reside can’t be specified.

Stage Voice: It's alright. Stage Voice: So what position do you occupy in DASA??

Lish: I am the current sport director of the great Dramatic Arts Students' Association.

Stage Voice: That's awesome. So why did you go for it? Was there anything you wanted to change?

Lish: I have the issue of seniors should always dominate in sport even when juniors can do better. For example when I was in part 1, I can boldly say just few of the team are better than me but yet many seniors were use ahead of me all in the name of they are seniors and I believe this is why we get flogged in competitions we registered for ,so I believe if I go for the post of the Sport director I will change that and I am happy I did that to a very large extent because the team is now only for capable and dedicated members who are willing to play for the love of the game and make DASA proud.

Stage Voice: Wow and you have proven you worth your salt.

Stage Voice: So being the sport director, how has this position been for you?

Lish: It feels good because it’s more of a challenge for me and it builds me positively,as the leader I am always on time to show example as a leader which might be hard if I am not in that post and I got a lot from people already that I am a mentor to them which is a good thing for me and it’s unfortunate I failed to get a cup for DASA even getting very close to one but I am happy I can get a personal medal for the best midfielder in a competition with the help of the team because without them I can’t do it ,so it’s a good journey for me

Stage Voice: 🎉🎉🎉🎉 We celebrate that. So how is your relationship with other excos? Lucky to be with or it's been hell?

Lish: All I can say is it’s a blessing to work with the Excos ,no bad moment, always supporting and helping even when I can’t think straight. Team VALOR FORTIS 💪

Stage Voice: Valor Fortis to the world 🎉 How is your relationship with other DSRC? Any fight occured?

Lish: We disagree to agree which happen sometimes but we know how to settle that without fighting or throwing punch and I am definitely in good terms with the DSRC members.

Stage Voice: I love the fact you said you sometimes disagree.

Stage Voice: Which is normal. How is your relationship with the lecturers as well?

Lish: Yes

Stage Voice: This

Lish: My relationship with few lectures are very good but we have to use wisdom to know you should be close and at the same time know your boundaries, even Solomon encourage us to “get wisdom” in the book of Proverbs.

Stage Voice: Una won dey drop lines abi 👍👍😂

Stage Voice: Anyway, you made a lot of sense. Know who you should be close to and how to set boundaries

Stage Voice: What are the current challenges the current administration is facing that DASAITES do not know? Esp pertaining to your office

Lish: The main problem I can say is turn outs from DASAITES ,we understand we go through a lot of stress as a dramatic arts student but they should understand we are serving them and when we organize events or meeting on their behalf we need them to show up in all aspects because we go through a lot to put things in place and it’s doesn’t encourage us if we don’t see good turn outs after

Stage Voice: DASAITES please turn up for events organised by the Directors of sports and socials. It will motivate them more to organize more events. Thank you for that

Lish: Yes please 🙏

Stage Voice: So do you have any side hustle apart from being a student?

Lish: Omoh nah my mama dey feed me oo

Stage Voice: 😂😂😂 Una dey stress una sef

Lish: Go hard or go home ,but I will go home

Stage Voice: Oya nowww. A quick one: do you think having a degree in theatre arts in Nigeria is worth having?

Lish: I will just say “just have it”.  What really matter is you must make it because many of the people in the industry now didn’t even study theatre arts in school but it is what it is .

Stage Voice: Just have it in casee 😂

Lish: That’s it

Stage Voice: So are you currently in a relationship?

Lish: Hmmm…I am single

Stage Voice: Why did you lead it with 'Hmmm'?

Lish: Because that word relationship is crazy ,you only find love when you are not serious and see non when you are serious. So I leave it till God want

Stage Voice: 🤣🤣🤣🤣 This one choke ooo

Stage Voice: What advice do you have for the incoming set of excos, and especially your successor?

Lish: My advice for them is to please don’t drop the level of transparency going on in your offices and do your best to serve the interests of the DASAITES well and for my successor,I which you success and I will love to see you achieve greater things I can’t achieve during my time 🙏

Stage Voice: Thank you very much. We wish you success as you pass across the baton to your successor.

Stage Voice: And lastly, who do you want to give your last shout-out to?

Lish: My self ,it’s not easy to be an exco, coordinator, choreographer, dancer all together without breaking down till the end ,from myself to myself LISH YOU ARE WONDERFUL

Stage Voice: Hmmmm

Lish deserves itttt 🎉🎉
