STAGE VOICE: Good morning.   Can you introduce yourself? Please we want to know you. Can you tell us more about yourself?     Moyin: I am Adewumi Moyinoluwa, a student of OBAFEMI AWOLOWO UNIVERSITY and a DRAMATIC Art's student. Hmm, the shy and reserved type.   STAGE VOICE:  The shy and the reserved type? Can you explain more because there is a stereotype that you can't be in dramatic art and be reserved.   Moyin: I will explain better.  I'm the shy type, even  some of my course mates who know me better could testify to this. When we resumed at first I don't have a friend, was a loner then but during INITIATION rehearsals and gingers I got from my coordinators and some crazy  friends, guess the shyness in me walked out, though i'm still a reserved type, I don't really know how to clarify this but it's my nature And I also discovered most things done in theatre can't work with shyness. So I let it go.   STAGE VOICE...

YOUR LIFE HERE AND LATER IN THE THEATRE    Hello! Welcome to another new week on this page. Last week, five skills , traits, and qualities of personality by Dr. Louis E. Catron that are usually well-developed in individuals who complete four years of undergraduate theatre study were highlighted here . I hope you took note of them. Well, here is another five to take note of. The Ability to Work Independently In theatre, you're often assigned tasks that you must complete without supervision. Crew chiefs. Directing. Putting together this flat, finding that prop, working out characterization outside of rehearsals. It's left up to you to figure out how best to achieve the goal. The ability to work independently is a trait employers look for in their workers.   Time-budgeting Skills When you're a student, being involved in theatre forces you to learn how to budget your time. You need to schedule your days very caref...

CUT SOAP Wooo! After my " Booty Call " experience, after the greatest player got played, I became wiser. Well, that is another lesson learnt. Nothing spoil. Man must press on! Aje, she motivated me. I was on a new level, high spirit saving up to get a new whip. This time, I was gonna cop a Chevrolet. You know the saying "Chevy for big boys" . No be onlyZino sabi drive Chevy na. I doubled my hustling spirit but broke days are certain. Brokelyn served me my own breakfast and I was eating it real fine. Bruhhh, i soaked garri ehhhn with plenty groundnut, I call it "epa galore" but i am too focused to be distracted. Chevy is the goal. I can't wait to pull up on Bianca and slap her with money. Kpk, who go visit me baii! 😂   So far so good, I jammed this online investment scheme and it looked bigger and lucrative. I invested my first savings which is 100K and the money was trippled in a week. Omo! Finally my Chevy dream can come true. I stayed low k...

DASACHAT

MY HEARTBEAT: HOW'S YOUR HEARTBEAT Hey Guys it's the beginning of another new week. We can only and never thank God enough for being too merciful. Glory to God. So let me cut straight to the chase, how's your heart doing this week? Is it thumping right or something's wrong or up? Last week, aproko talk never finish but has that left you bitter, betrayed, tired or even scared?! You  know, someone once told me, "fear is real and common but it isn't cheap". Here's the gist, for the fact that you feel all these emotions means you mean a lot to yourself and you wanna protect yourself against it; though fear is common and bitter it brings a sense of urgency to do something!  I'll let you decide what but whatever it is; DO NOT SHUT DOWN. Be fair on yourself. Take it as part of a learning process and like I always say; talk to God more and humans less. Now you understand what I'm saying- not all in the medical sense now though that's ...
