Maxwell: I'm Esokawu Maxwell Daberechi.


Stage Voice: It's nice meeting you. Please tell us where you are from and where you currently reside?


Maxwell: I'm from Ohkwuohia, Obowo LGA of Imo State. And resides in Ife.


Stage Voice: Alright. So being the treasurer, why did you go for it? Was there anything you wanted to change?


Maxwell: Hmmm 🤔, not really. But to have an experience of leadership from another angle. 😊


Stage Voice: Alright. So being the treasurer, how has this position been for you?


Maxwell: Interesting. Enjoying and enduring the good and bad of it.


Stage Voice: What are the good and bad sides you've experienced?


Maxwell: 😄😄😄 Having the experience of leadership and being made jest of when addressing issues that have to do with the good of all.


Stage Voice: 🤣 Probably you are a funny person. 


Maxwell: They gonna miss me when dey see no one to manage the Toilet well 😌😌


Stage Voice: 🤣 They will really do.


Stage Voice: So how has this position been for you?

Maxwell: Fun I must say. Coming across different people with different characters and personality. And learning to handle them. 😌

Stage Voice: So how is your relationship with other excos? Lucky to be with or it's been hell?


Maxwell: It has been excellent 👌 Meeting and working with beautiful teammates. I'm honored.


Stage Voice: That's great. How is your relationship with the DSRC? Any fight occurred?


Maxwell: Why we go fight, Nobody trespassed.


Stage Voice: Alright. How is your relationship with the lecturers as well?


Maxwell: Simple. Student to Lecturer relationship👌🏻I'm not shipping anything Biko nu

Stage Voice: Igbo kwenu! What are the current challenges the Association is facing, especially the ones pertaining to your office, that DASAITES do not know?


Maxwell: No funds. Some of us DASAITES are not paying our dues and We want and expect something from Excos. How do we get the funds? Use our own money? Oh No! Management of properties is Zero. It's true that we are Lacking the necessary facilities and equipment in the department BUT at least let's make good use of the ones we have and use them well.


Stage Voice: Thank you very much for letting us know about your struggles.

Stage Voice: So apart from being a student, do you have any side hustle?


Maxwell: I'm a Sport man (Taekwondo 🥋 practitioner) Graphics designer (Still training). And other small small side hustles

Stage Voice: A quick one... Should LGBTQ be legalized in Nigeria?


Maxwell: Capital NO. Buh why? Is dat not another shade of Madness beyond reasoning?


Stage Voice: You don't have to shade it. Just give your reasons why it should not be legalized.


Maxwell: It's an insult and disrespect to God. It a demonic tactics to put an end to procreation. Anyone engaging in this needs urgent attention to his/her mental state. 


Stage Voice: Hmmm. Thank you for your view.


Stage Voice: So why advice for the current part 1 students?


Maxwell: Advice nke, me sef needs Advice 😄😄 Well, I will say they  should start thinking outside the box and making future plans from now.

Stage Voice : Hi, How are you doing? Janet : Been good jare thanks Stage Voice : Great, how has your experience been as a fresher of Dramatic Arts? Janet : It has been fun, tedious and stressful. At first, I didn't like the way things were but later on I fell in love with the stress. I really love the initiation part, it wasn't easy but it really grinded me. So far Sha I'm loving it. Stage Voice : What was your best part of the initiation process? Janet : The overnights 🥰🥰🥰. For our set, overnight rehearsals weren't allowed but the coordinators had to do it secretly just for us to catch up on things and because of that the coordinators were kinda nice and very playful during this overnight rehearsals that we do. Although it was draining then, we use to look tattered and stressed, most of us even lost a lot of weight and we were not even eating well but the joy and gladness was there.
