Stage Voice: Hello 😊, How have you been ?

Sharon: I am good, thank you.

Stage Voice: Good to hear from you. Please can tell us about yourself?

Sharon: Amokwu Sharon onyinye. Some people call me “sharrie”,A Part 4 , I am majoring in Acting.

Stage Voice: What is your inspiration behind choosing Acting as a Major?

Sharon: Initially, I did not choose acting I chose theatre management. I was forced into acting and now I totally enjoy it.

Stage Voice: Why did you want to major in Theate management?

Sharon: I did not want anything that would stress me in my final year.

Stage Voice: 😂Can you please give your reasons?

Sharon: That’s my reason.

Stage Voice: Have you had any challenging role giving to you?

Sharon: Yes the role I played in vagina monologue was a bit challenging.

Stage Voice: How were you able to overcome the challenge ?

Sharon: I watched a videos to kind of understand the role I’m playing then imagined my self in that role to really get the right emotions for that role it then the accent too 😩😂 it was challenging but it was fun tho.

Stage Voice: Wow, can  you tell us your insight on women taking over the entertainment industry?

Sharon: I mean entertainment is not just for the men now, we have very talented women in the industry   The industry is a supportive environment where individuals regardless of there gender can thrive and also contribute so what a man can do a woman can do too.

Stage Voice: Yes, that is the spirit. Do you have any female actors you admire a lot or that inspires you?

Sharon: Yes, A lot.

Stage Voice: Can you tell mention a few and why they inspire you or why you admire them?

Sharon: Bimbo ademoye the way she is so versatile any role given to her she kills it she inspires me a lot also nse Ike Etim I love the way she speaks Tiffany haddish I love love any movie she features In and many others I might not be able to mention.

Stage Voice: This is very great, Do you plan on acting on the big screen or focus on stage acting?

Sharon: Yes I plan to.

Stage Voice : Hi, How are you doing? Janet : Been good jare thanks Stage Voice : Great, how has your experience been as a fresher of Dramatic Arts? Janet : It has been fun, tedious and stressful. At first, I didn't like the way things were but later on I fell in love with the stress. I really love the initiation part, it wasn't easy but it really grinded me. So far Sha I'm loving it. Stage Voice : What was your best part of the initiation process? Janet : The overnights 🥰🥰🥰. For our set, overnight rehearsals weren't allowed but the coordinators had to do it secretly just for us to catch up on things and because of that the coordinators were kinda nice and very playful during this overnight rehearsals that we do. Although it was draining then, we use to look tattered and stressed, most of us even lost a lot of weight and we were not even eating well but the joy and gladness was there.
