Stage Voice: Good day, How are you doing ?

Precious: I’m good, what about you?

Stage Voice: Can you tell us your major and why you chose it.

Precious: I am Adebayo Precious, a part 4 student 🤔 what else?

Stage Voice: Can you tell us your major and why you chose it ?

Precious: Media , I choose media coming into the department. After I was given drama the second time, I felt I needed to accept the admission and also find something in it since it was never part of my plan. In that process, I weighed all the major and I felt I had something for media more, so I settled for that since then.

Stage Voice: How has the experience been ?

Precious: So exhausting maybe because it is getting towards the end and I feel it should just end or I can’t just place it, it’s just tiring.

Stage Voice: Pele, how was your experience as a drama student for your part 1 still now?

Precious: Am actually a DE student, part 2 was just there because of the covid effect and then part 3 but one thing I made sure of was to avoid stress because I hate stress I only involved myself in class practical.

Stage Voice: How were you able not to be involved in other projects considering the way our lectures make them compulsory?

Precious: I don’t know I just saw myself not doing them except the lecturer decide to attach it to a course like 204. We were shared to dances of dance majors so I had no choice than to go for the rehearsal then 310 lecturer did same thing.

Stage Voice: Do you have anything you do apart from being a student?

Precious: Yes, I run my business along sides.

Stage Voice: Can you tell us about your business?

Precious:My business name is Alana which is basically into two for now, Clothing aspect( sales of thrift wears and fashion designing) and there is the Food aspect ( baking and catering services).

Stage Voice: Wow, pls can you tell us how you came about with you Business?

Precious: I think one thing I learnt and believed is that food and cloth are part of the essential of human. This belief kept me in the part I am now.

Stage Voice: Great words of wisdom, Can you tell on your plans after Dramatic Arts?

Precious: Just living life I don’t want to worry too much about life after school, so I can’t say if there is a plan or not.

Stage Voice: Alright, do you have anybody in the media industry you look up to?

Precious: I have quite a good number of people I see their work and I feel ok this person is good and I feel I can learn from but i don’t have any particular person I look up to. Am everybody person and nobody person at the same time.

Stage Voice: Hmmm, do you have any advice for a junior colleague?

Precious: Hmm advice me wey still dey receive advice. I will say just be yourself , accept yourself and love yourself.

Stage Voice : Hi, How are you doing? Janet : Been good jare thanks Stage Voice : Great, how has your experience been as a fresher of Dramatic Arts? Janet : It has been fun, tedious and stressful. At first, I didn't like the way things were but later on I fell in love with the stress. I really love the initiation part, it wasn't easy but it really grinded me. So far Sha I'm loving it. Stage Voice : What was your best part of the initiation process? Janet : The overnights 🥰🥰🥰. For our set, overnight rehearsals weren't allowed but the coordinators had to do it secretly just for us to catch up on things and because of that the coordinators were kinda nice and very playful during this overnight rehearsals that we do. Although it was draining then, we use to look tattered and stressed, most of us even lost a lot of weight and we were not even eating well but the joy and gladness was there.
