Russet:Hellooooooo, How’re you doing??
Stage Voice: Am good, How has your department been treating you?
Russet: Well well, When it starts raining millions, I won’t have the cause to complainπΉ
Stage Voice: ππ, Can you please introduce yourself?
Russet: Okayyy.I’m Russet Iyanuolu Olubunmi,A part four Dramatic Arts student, OAU. Born and bred somewhere in Oyo state very reputable with mangoes. I’m a lover of music; good music (subjective to me), good food and of course nice scents π. I forgot to add, if laughing is a hobby I enjoy laughing too.Hard laughters… lol
Stage Voice: πππCan you tell us about your hobbies?
Russet: Eiii!I’m such a boring person right now.It used to be swimming, playing volleyball; all sporty.But right now? Staying indoors
Stage Voice: What changed?
Russet: Myself, lol
Stage Voice: Laugh is a good medicine. What is the most challenging level of you, and why ?
Russet: For me? Every level is but the most? It was my part two.The Festival of Plays then, I was the technical director for “DRAWN”(A couple of mates should still remember how darkkk it was on stage the tech night)The part of assuming the responsibility and executing was quite challenging for me. PS: what came out for the set eventually was way better than what I earlier conceived.
Stage Voice:How were you able to overcome the challenges faced?
Russet:Trusting God and maintaining a good attitude.
Stage Voice:Can you tell us about your major and the reason you choose it?
Russet:Dance and Choreography.
Stage Voice:Why dance and choreography and not any other major?
Russet:Growing up, I’ve always looked up to Dayo Liadi (a professional dance artist).Dance basically has always been a part of me.
Stage Voice:What type of dance do you like?
Russet:Folk dance.
Stage Voice:Have you been involved in any dance productions in pit theatre ?
Russet:Yes, I have.I have been,I am being .And I’ll still be… Well for the time being.
Stage Voice:Can you tell us any dance productions you were involved in and the challenges you faced?
Russet:“Nkosi Afrika” The challenges lol.Not much of a challenge but having to sleep in Pit
Stage Voice:Pls can you tell us more about Nkosi Afrika?
Russet:It was a final year dance project then.The choreographer: Peter Adedokun.Simply put, it was the adaptation of The Lion King.
Stage Voice:Interesting. How was it for you working with him ?
Russet:It was fun.Filled with memories too.
