FYB OF THE WEEK – FEMALE

Stage Voice: Hi, I am from stage Voice. Can you tell me about yourself?

Victoria: Good afternoon, I'm Peter-Amos Victoria Nwanne, part 4 student of Dramatic Arts department, Obafemi Awolowo University.

Stage Voice: Can you tell us more about this department?

Victoria: Well, where do I start from? πŸ€”πŸ€”hmmmm, well my department is a wonderful one in any way you can imagine. Here, we have all kinds of humans: the good, the bad; a lot of talented people; we have the good times and the bad times (when we see results). My department is where you have to unlearn to learn, there is never a dull moment in Pit Theatre.

Stage Voice: Wow πŸ‘Œ, what are the things you like about your department?

Victoria: Well, the opportunity to meet new people and mingle with them. Learning and harnessing your talent. The gbasgbos and the never a dull moment in pit theatre.

Stage Voice: πŸ˜…πŸ€£ As a part 4 student, What is your major, and what is the inspiration behind it?

Victoria: I'm a Theatre Management major but borrowing Criticism. The inspiration behind choosing Theatre Management is because I love the administrative aspect of a organization including Theatre. Maybe this is my background in the past in administration, and also I will divert into production management after school.

And finally I choose Theatre Management to change the status quo that the major is the less stressful major in the department. That is the department that people run too "in order not to work" but unknown to them "omo isΓ© wa gidigan".

Stage Voice: Very True πŸ‘, so why are you borrowing criticism?

Victoria: Well no knowledge is a waste, and who knows when and where I will need it. Since I can jingle it with other courses, I decided to give it a try. Also I need the knowledge in criticism since I do not have any prior to this and I am criticizing one of the mini project plays.

Stage Voice: That great πŸ‘, Well done. How has the experience been?

Victoria: So far, hectic but we are pushing it and hoping it ends well.

Stage Voice: It will be by God's grace. What is your best level so far and Why?

Victoria: All levels has been my best, so I can't say this particular level has been my best.

Stage Voice: That great, what can you say about the Nollywood production?

Victoria: I don't really know much about Nollywood being that I'm new in the industry but all i can say, is that it's a home where talent are made.

Stage Voice: What are the things you love doing?

Victoria: For one I love writing plays, reading novels, watching movies, eating good food and sleeping.

Stage Voice: It is the food for me😊. What kind of novels do you like and what type of plays do you write?

Victoria: I love romance novels and generally I write tragic plays.

Stage Voice: What is the thing or that person that drives you to be a better person of your self?

Victoria: Being successful and my family members are my driving force.

Stage Voice: Awww😊, family is everything. Any last word for your fellow dasaite and Executive?

Victoria: Yes, to me family is everything and my last word will be, just be yourself, never let anyone intimidate you into being who you are not. Sorry I forgot to add, I'm from Akwa-ibom state 🀭

Stage Voice: Thank you so much for the opportunity to have you.I will say this is where we end.  Good πŸ‘‹ .

Victoria: Thanks and you're welcome 😊
