DASAITE OF THE WEEK – MALE

Stage Voice: Hello 😊, How are you doing? Can you tell us about yourself?

Praise: My name is Aregbesola Praise, I'm a part 1 student of the Department of Dramatic Arts, born in Lagos. I'm an upcoming artiste known by the stage name "JUDAH", I aspire to become a legend both in the music and theatre world.

Stage Voice: Wow, you will be if you are focused and determined. Can you tell us what inspired you to choose Dramatic Arts?

Praise: Uhm, I've actually had a great love for acting and film making for a long time now and seeing lots of great actors making it big from doing what they love the most. That gave me the motivation I needed to go for dramatic arts, I wanted to be able to let the world in on my acting side, trust me, it's a sweet ride. 😎

Stage Voice: Wow 😊 I am inspired. How was your initiation process?

Praise: Wow, stressful but, a lot of lessons learnt, experience, stamina also and it helped create a bond amongst us. (the initiates)😊

Stage Voice: That's great. What your plan now is that you are done with your initiation process to actualize your acting and filmmaking dream?

Praise: Yh, learn more about theatre in general and meet people of like minds so we can grow together and also seek knowledge from seniors in the game... Dream, plan, connect and actualize! 😉

Stage Voice: That is very detailed. Can you tell us more about your music career?

Praise: Well, I'm an all-round artist, I do all kinds of music but I'm based on Rap (hip hop rap, Afro rap, r&b rap, etc) I'm still up–and–coming so I don't have a solid audience yet but I hope for that soon. I've got unrecorded songs and covers also I hope to release sometime soon. I look forward to becoming one of the biggest artistes in the world and using the medium to promote Africa (culture) across the globe .🌍

Stage Voice: Very inspiring dream and vision. Can you tell us the most stressful part of your initiation process?

Praise: The squatting, jogging, planking, marathon rehearsals😮‍💨 trust me, it wasn't easy at all.

Stage Voice: This process was all for training, Which of your rehearsals did you always anticipate?

Praise: Dance and Play, they're my favorites. And then there's OSAO.

Stage Voice: What did you like about your play and your dance rehearsals ?

Praise: The energy, creativity and everything else basically. I was given a major role in play so that was one of the reasons I loved play rehearsal, I felt like it was a privilege for me so.

Stage Voice: How was the process for you to actualize the role given to you.

Praise: It was in my favor actually, I had more time to work with my play director and the exercise built my stamina to withstand some things.

Stage Voice: How were you able to juggle your classes with your initiation rehearsals?

Praise: Honestly, It just happened, I don't know but one way or the other, we did it as a team/family. We always went to class together and resume rehearsals together so it was fair enough for me.

Stage Voice: Did you have anyone during your initiation process that made the process fun and enjoyable for you?😎

Praise: Of course, I believe when you have God, everything becomes easy, fun and enjoyable for you even when the odds seem unfavorable.

Stage Voice: True talk. It was a great pleasure having you 😎.At the point bye-bye .👋

Praise: The pleasure is mine .😊
