Stage Voice: Hiiiiiiiii 😎, I am from Stage Voice. Can you introduce yourself?


Bolu: My name is Jolaoluwa Boluwatife Emmanuella


Stage Voice: Do you have any other name you are known as?


Bolu: I think most people call me stage manager Bolu.


Stage Voice: If I may ask, why do people call you that name?


Bolu: Because I'm always stage managing productions 😂 rather than acting.


Stage Voice: How can you describe the experience.


Bolu: Omoooo ..I have to start with that o😂. It has been a rollercoaster of events. From  directors shouting to actors not showing up for rehearsal and all but I think I am getting better sha.


Stage Voice: The more the experience, the better will become. From your initiation process to now, how the experience been for you?


Bolu: I think I have grown in different areas like in acting, stage managing and the likes, even dance. Everything I learnt during the induction process is what I am still holding on to. I would say I have grown and I still still growing


Stage Voice: Wow😊, that great. Can you tell us the expectations you had about this department?


Bolu: Hmmm I didn't really expect much but I definitely didn't expect what I saw.


The commitment of people into rehearsals and production. The overnights ; sacrificing my sleep and bed ....my money sef. It's a crazy experience


Stage Voice: With this experience, can you say that to be a drama student, you have to be ready for sacrifice and commitment.


Bolu: Yes o. Real sacrifice


Stage Voice: True talk, ooh, what are the things you love doing.


Bolu: I love being in pit I can't even explain it😂l Iove watching performances too.


Stage Voice: Apart from things in relation to theatres?


Bolu:Oh I love to sing and listen to songs . Also sleep.


Stage Voice: What genre of music do you like and do you have a favourite singer or musician?


Bolu: I love Afro beat and R&B. Yes I do I love Oxlade and Giveon


Stage Voice: All Oxlade fans 😜, do you have any advice to say to DASA!


Bolu: Yes o. Please we need toilet and a changing room. I'm pleased with their work so far sha. I want to see what the executives have in store for us.

Stage Voice : Hi, How are you doing? Janet : Been good jare thanks Stage Voice : Great, how has your experience been as a fresher of Dramatic Arts? Janet : It has been fun, tedious and stressful. At first, I didn't like the way things were but later on I fell in love with the stress. I really love the initiation part, it wasn't easy but it really grinded me. So far Sha I'm loving it. Stage Voice : What was your best part of the initiation process? Janet : The overnights 🥰🥰🥰. For our set, overnight rehearsals weren't allowed but the coordinators had to do it secretly just for us to catch up on things and because of that the coordinators were kinda nice and very playful during this overnight rehearsals that we do. Although it was draining then, we use to look tattered and stressed, most of us even lost a lot of weight and we were not even eating well but the joy and gladness was there.
