Sylvia: my name is Omenukwa Sylvia Ezinne.

Stage Voice: So Sylvia, tell us about your business or businesses... Like which work dey bring moolah for you?

Sylvia: Well business is fine. I am a baker n a caterer. But I wll say there is more cash in caterer. 

Stage Voice: So you make all varieties of foods for birthday parties, weddings, events, and all?

Sylvia: Yes I do

Stage Voice: That's nice. So Sylvia, how did you start this baking and catering? Is it that you love cooking abi your parents just want to learn a skill, by force by fire 😁?

Sylvia: Lol I love cooking actually

I watch new stuffs online 

Sylvia: For baking I learnt from my mum. No one forced me. 

Stage Voice: Your mum contributed in one way or the other. 

Sylvia: Yes she did ☺️🥰

Stage Voice: That's great... Somebody actually said eating your food can boost one's gp? Is that true?

Sylvia: 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I can’t say o😂😂😂

Stage Voice: Let us know maybe that's what the whole of DASA will be eating.  😂

Sylvia: Lol 😂 no way it doesn’t work that way but I can say my food is tasty

Sylvia: I Dey try 😂😂

Stage Voice: Don't worry, pit folks go teach you 😂 So Sylvia, what are the challenges that come with this business?

Sylvia: A lot dear. Improving online visibility. 

Sylvia: Change in cost.. 

Stage Voice: Can you share one of the bad experiences you have had?

Sylvia: I sell soup bowls online so yes this young man ordered 3bowls of soup of 60k paid 50 to balance 10k. So after making the soup, I called my him for location that my rider will deliver soon n he was like he wants me to deliver personal. And I said I don’t do that n all. He no gree o. Saying if I can’t come I wouldn’t get my balance and I wll balance his 50k back. I was like who be this one bayi o. He taught calling n calling for a refund. I was so tired of the tin. I had to refund him. He insulted me and said I wasn’t ready for business blabla

Stage Voice: You had to refund him despite the loss? Even after delivering the soup

Sylvia: I didn’t deliver. He said if I don’t bring it myself. I shouldn’t bother. So I had to refund him. 

Stage Voice: Ohh he wanted you to deliver it yourself

Sylvia: Yes

Stage Voice: He is up to something then

Sylvia: Exactly. And I don’t knw him from anywhere

Stage Voice: Like I said earlier, he is up to something, 'cause if he is not, he would have accepted that the delivery man deliver it.

Stage Voice: So Sylvia, can you say this business has improved your financial extent to some extent?

Sylvia: Yes it has

Stage Voice: Alrighteee

Stage Voice: So I want to pose a question to you. 

Sylvia: Ok

Stage Voice: If you had a boyfriend that says you should leave your business and will keep taking care of you, will you leave it?

Sylvia: No I wouldn’t dear

Stage Voice: 😂 Why? Won't that ease you?

Sylvia: No o. I can’t depend on him for everything

Stage Voice: Independent woman 🫡🫡 Another question again

Sylvia: Alright.

Stage Voice: Do you think abortion should be legalized in Nigeria or not?

Sylvia: Omo 😂😂😂😂

Stage Voice: With explanation ooo 😂

Sylvia: Well I will say it should be legalized

Sylvia: Lol no explanation o

Stage Voice: 😂 Why?

Stage Voice: You must have your reasons?

Sylvia: Yes becos not everyone is ready. Pregnancy can happen by mistake. It's sad but then. 

Stage Voice: It's fine 😇😇 The last two questions: will you advice an entrepreneur to borrow a loan to start a business?

Sylvia: No no no. Start small. Focus on what you have in no time they fine. 

Stage Voice: And lastly, what advice do you have for entrepreneurs like you?

Sylvia: Well I will say getout of your comfort zon, separate caution from fear “don’t let fear be a factor in your decision making."

Stage Voice : Hi, How are you doing? Janet : Been good jare thanks Stage Voice : Great, how has your experience been as a fresher of Dramatic Arts? Janet : It has been fun, tedious and stressful. At first, I didn't like the way things were but later on I fell in love with the stress. I really love the initiation part, it wasn't easy but it really grinded me. So far Sha I'm loving it. Stage Voice : What was your best part of the initiation process? Janet : The overnights 🥰🥰🥰. For our set, overnight rehearsals weren't allowed but the coordinators had to do it secretly just for us to catch up on things and because of that the coordinators were kinda nice and very playful during this overnight rehearsals that we do. Although it was draining then, we use to look tattered and stressed, most of us even lost a lot of weight and we were not even eating well but the joy and gladness was there.
