DASA FYB OF THE WEEK

Stage Voice: Good evening,I am from Stage Voice. Can I pls get to know you?

Stephen: I'm idowu Stephen

A photographer, dancer and drummer?

Stage Voice: Wow, only one personπŸ‘.

How are you doing and how has your rehearsals been?

Stephen: Wahala...I'm doing good..Well rehearsals has been hectic so far but good nevertheless.

Stage Voice: Good to know...

How do you combine your photography job and school work?

Stephen: Hmm... It's been difficult but as a Dramatic Arts student, you must know how to multi-task. And also thanks to my God and my shuffling of schedules so far...

Stage Voice: That great to know... So what's your major and why did you choose the major?

Stephen: I'm a Dance major. And my reason is because it is a "Kick" for me since my childhood so it has been part of me ever since but the department helps to push it out of me.

Stage voice: This is a dream coming to reality☺️. How has been your experience in Dance in Dramatic Arts?

Stephen: My experience so far has been educative and innovative. It opened my mind and senses to new varieties of dances from different parts of the world. I got to experience dance teaching different primary and secondary schools, performing in churches, events, conferences and festivals.

Stage Voice: Wow☺️, This is so great and inspiring. Do you plan on forwarding your education after your graduate from OAU?

Stephen: Hmm.... Time will tell😌

Stage Voice : True ☺️, What has been your best experience in Dramatic Art? And your best stage performance?

Stephen:  Every rehearsals and performances so far...either flopped or fantastic..

Stage Voice: Oh fine... And your best stage performance?

Stephen: Haaa.. quite difficult to choose my best stage performance.. All actually...No matter how little or big the performances are.... There are memories to hold on to. But I will choose "Turmoil in Elysium" A Dance project by Abiola femi, When I was in part 1.

Stage Voice : I have learnt something today, no matter how little or big they are, there are memories to holdπŸ₯Ί. You mention you are also a drummer, pls how did you become this great in your drumming skill?

Stephen: DefinitelyπŸ’―

Nobody is perfect on the first trial but strive every time to become better version of ourselves. Drumming for me has been one of the most important things I love doing from my childhood.

It just brings out the real person I am that most people don't know at all.

All thanks to my mentor femi Abiola for straightening up my head during part 1πŸ˜‚

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Drumming for me is "my peace of mind" "my escape to a fairyland".

Stage Voice : Words😊, Think about it πŸ€”, what is that thing that drives you to be the best of yourself?

Stephen: God actually...

As long as I have God....I can and will always be the best version of myself✨πŸ’―

Stage Voice : This is very inspiring☺️. So what do have tell your colleagues in Dramatic Arts?

Stephen: They should never give up and have fun. Stay jiggy✨

Stage Voice: Thank you so much for you time☺️.

Stephen: Thank you for having me too...

Stay jiggy✨πŸ™ƒ

Stage Voice : Have a great time in this remaining months in Dramatic Arts πŸ‘ŒπŸ½.
