DASA FYB OF THE WEEK
Stage Voice:Hi, I am from Stage Voice. Can I get to know you.
Stephen: Good evening
My name is Stephen Adeyemo Part 4 Student of Dramatic Arts.
Stage Voice:Wow! That great. How has been the journey from part 1 still now.
Stephen: I joined Part 2 as a direct entry student though but the journey has been full of up and down
Stage Voice: I can imagine, Do you mind sharing with us any of your experience as a dramatic art student.
Stephen: I have alot of experience but the most important one is during my initiation with Grandeza, I was drilled by our coordinators.
Stage Voice:Yes it does, I have been able to adjust to any condition most especially effective time management
Stephen: Hmm 🤔 That good to Know . I most ask was Dramatic Arts something you wanted to study and if Yes, when you joined this department was want you saw, your expectations about Dramatic Arts and what you major now
Stage Voice: You want to know if I chose Drama or I was given right?
Stage Voice:Yes ☺️
Stephen: I wanted to study law but it was not accredited but I believe God has a plan for me changing to Drama.
My expectation about Dramatic Arts is that I'll have luxury of time for other activities but it's
a different story entirely. My major is Stage Management.
Stage Voice: So how is stage management, and why stage management and not something else.
Stephen: It's lovely, I find fulfilment being a stage manager, Stage management or nothing, I love things being done decently and in order. Stage management greatly deals with proper coordination of the cast and crew to achieve success in a production.
Stage Voice: That lovely ☺️, Do you have any skill or talent you would like to share with us apart from been a great stage manager 😁.
Stephen: I love to sleep 😹.
I'm a product designer and a website designer.
Stage Voice: Wow! You are a big man ooh m, Sir I can be you accountant 😂.
Stephen: The door is widely open 👐
Stage Voice: 🤣 That aside, what do you have to tell your junior colleagues that are aspiring to major stage management in their Part 4.
Stephen: My advice is that they should put their best to stage management and plan for the worst 😂,
We deal with human being and human actions can't be predicted.
Stage Voice: I know how tasking it can be been a website designer and also been a dramatic arts student. How were able to balance the two
Stephen: Most times I'm a thespian by day and a coder by night. I love designing so I
create time for it.
Stage Voice: What is the plan for the worst for me 🤣. Thank you so much for you time. One last word for you colleagues from part 1 to part 3.
Stephen: People you work with might frustrate you but be patient enough.
My last word for colleagues from part 1 to 3 is to "strive for excellence"
Stage Voice: Thank you so much for time 😁
