Stage Voice: Hi, I am from Stage Voice.  Do you mind being interviewed as our DASA FYB of the week?

Hope: No

Stage Voice: Alright

Stage Voice: Kindly introduce yourself please

Hope:  Im Ayoade Hope by name.

Stage Voice: Nice meeting you... Hope

Hope: Thank you

Stage Voice: So you're from which state?

Hope: I'm from Osun state

Stage Voice: You're welcome

Stage Voice: You're still home then😊

Hope: Yes

Stage Voice: So we learnt you major in Stage Management. Tell us, why S. M? Is there something you love about it?

Hope: Okay... I choose to major in Stage Management to know more on how to condinate  people and to improve  creative ideas

Stage Voice: "Know more on how to coordinate people..." hmmm... Nice

Hope: Thanks

Stage Voice: So tell us, as an FYB, how has it been from your 100 level days?

Hope: It has been tough, challenging and rough but thanks to God for showing up

Stage Voice: As it has always been πŸ˜…

Hope: You know right

Stage Voice: Mind sharing some of the harsh days as well as the beautiful ones?

Hope: I remembered my first night in the  department, I was not with my black basis that was how they shouted on me and Sis Waliyat come to my aid and one of my class mate Omopariola Marvelous. Sis Waliyat gave me a new black top while Marvelous gave me a joggers.

Stage Voice: Coordinators and shouting on you for not wearing rehearsal gears ehn πŸ˜‚

Hope: Abi ohh… The beautiful one I could recollect is that, for 2months after the initiation, I will always be up once is 3am in the morning.

Stage Voice: That's just... The discipline still dwells in one.

Stage Voice: So what are your plans after school? Do you mind sharing?

Hope: It’s confidential

Stage Voice: It's understandable

Hope: Thanks

Stage Voice: So who did you wish you had work with during your stay here?

Hope: Akintunde Goodness, Baale Noah and Dare Jude.

Stage Voice: Alright Fine So hmmm... (chews kolanut and drinks yoyo bitter, then belches) Are you into any relationship?

Hope: Nope

Stage Voice: Hmmmm

Stage Voice: Why?

Hope: Nothing

Stage Voice: Alright

Stage Voice: So this is out of the blue, do you think changing Nigeria currency will make a positive change in the country's economy?

Hope: It has its own good and other way but the essential thing is that the country should favour us. Good in way cause those that embezzle it and store it, it won't be useful for them; and bad in the sense that the new policy mandate that you can't spend beyond twenty thousand in a day.

Stage Voice: Hmmm it definitely wont be useful for those embezzling it So if you could be back in time to pick a school apart from OAU, would you still pick OAU?

Hope: No

Stage Voice: Why? Reasons.

Hope: Cause everything seems difficult here, in terms of setting exam questions, stress and the likes. Everything is difficult here

Stage Voice: Smiles OAU & wahala

Hope: Nah so bro

Stage Voice: As an FYB, what advice would you like to give to Part 1 students?

Hope: My advice for them is that they should put God first, be serious cause this is a stage where they can build GPs, they should learn how to combine both practical and theories aspects and they should believe in theirselves.

Stage Voice: Thank youuu

Stage Voice: So before we come to the end of the interview, who would you like to give a shout-out to?

Hope: To Goodness, Gbenga,Christianah, Osas, stage management students, Laconflunza, DASA president, the excos and everyone

Stage Voice: Sadly, we've come to the end of the interview. It's nice having you, Hope.

Hope: Youre welcome.
