DASAITE OF THE WEEK

Stage Voice: Hi, I am from Stage Voice. Can we get to know you, please?

Segun: Hello, I'm Olarewaju Oluwasegun Olalekan by name.

Stage Voice: Nice meeting you sir. Can you tell us more about yourself?

Segun: Like I said earlier, I'm Oluwasegun by name, a part 2 student. I'm a professional graphics designer, a love of arts and music.

Stage Voice: That's great. So, as a DASAITE, what was your first impression about the department?

Segun: I love it, but was bothered how stressful it could drain someone but when I understand the theory behind the doings in the department, I love it.

Stage Voice: Alright What differences did you notice about the Part 1 initiation that took place before the strike and the past ones?

Segun: HmmmI thought about it, and I fill the energy wasn't bad but the section of the chief priest was extraordinary with the experience which I don't think as ever happened before in the history of initiation.

Stage Voice: Alright So what have you noticed about the department that needs changes?

Segun: Our spiritual growth as one big family is lacking behind. I'm not a saint myself really. Aside this, the family bond is there.

Stage Voice: So the only changes the department needs is the spiritual aspect of it?

Segun: Don't get me wrong. That's not it, but the other areas are also crucial, which is including the leadership. But we can only take the horse to the river side, we can't force it to drink water. At the same time, we will keep raising our voices until it's heard.

Stage Voice: Shed more light on the proverb... I mean concerning the leadership.

Segun: Some stone are better left untoned

Stage Voice: Hmmmm alright then So what do you notice about the student's administration?

Segun: Trying their best to make things work and making it the heat of their reign, which is very cool and the efforts, individually and collectively are well respected and appreciated.

Stage Voice: You seem very observant... Let me throw this question: if you were the DASA president today, what'd you change about the department?

Segun OK. All I will intend to do is to make the association voice heard in every area it needs to be heard. and keep changing the mindset of people about drama students on campus.

Stage Voice: Alright. Thank you

Segun: The pleasure is mine.

Stage Voice: Enough of the serious talks. Who's the small mama behind your handsomeness?

Segun: When you mean small madam you mean my mum right because she is still young too

Stage Voice: You get what I am saying. Don't pretend

Segun: Lol.

Segun: Well. The beauty queen is in her empire waiting for the king to come claim her.

Stage Voice: Hmmmm

Stage Voice: That means you're the king then

Segun: A Prince is expected to have a princess before claiming the throne right?

Stage Voice: Yeah. So are you part of any production aside from your class projects?

Segun: The Trials of Brother Jero and Woza Herbart.

Stage Voice: Hmmm so we should anticipate?

Segun: Yes boss.

Stage Voice: Alright So what advice do you have for part 1 students?

Segun: This is just the beginning, the sky is their starting point. They should all stay strong and determine never to fall.

Stage Voice: Hmmm Wise man Thanks for the advice. Thanks for your sparing your time with us.

Segun: The pleasure is all mine.
