Stage Voice: Can you please introduce yourself? 

Damilare: I am Bolatito Timilehin Damilare. My brand name is BTD wears. 

Stage Voice: It's nice meeting you BTD Wears. 

Damilare: Yes Same here

Stage Voice: Be like say you be Baller ooo 

Damilare: Not at allI am a small boy o

Stage Voice: Smiles Please, can you give more information about your business?

Damilare: Yes As the Brand name goes: BTD-Wears. I deal with all kind of wears i.e clothes either male or female, but I specialize more on male wears I hope you understand There are some limits to female wears, I cant trade Lingeries [smiling] its not possible. I treat my customers as my family by giving them the best quality. As a brand owner, we call that Grade A. My customers knows me for that. We guarantee you if you trade with us @btd-wears, you wont regret it, Thanks😊

Stage Voice: Hmmm... It's plentyyy…Baba even dey market hin business.... Business man… 

Damilare: Lol Norms..That’s part of me

Stage Voice: It's good sha... We've got to market ourselves shamelessly. So, damilare, what motivated you to go into this business?

Damilare: Ohh… Big question I have a friend here on campus, he is a big business owner and has a big brand here in OAU Sleek wears he is kinda popular on campus So therefore I liked what he did and I was motivated big time. I started from the scratch by selling plain tee shirts to my course mates during initiation especially black and grey colors as per drama student I hope u understand, so from there everything started booming till this moment... Although I havent reached the peak like sleek wears but very soon I will reach and I will surpass, Amen🙏🏾

Stage Voice: Wow... So indirectly, it was your friend that motivated you to start… That's cool... Drama student gats chop. 

Damilare: Yeah.. I saw how he is spending mint💷😂😂

Stage Voice: And Mint be the koko  Alright... Since you've started this business, has it changed your financial life to some degree?

Damilare: Yes oo .. A lot .. I was using Samsung S7 edge before but now I have changed to X and its the business gain A lot I cant remember sef Its a nice business to engage even tho there are some shortcomings and thats just a natural phenomenon. 

Stage Voice: From Samsung S7 to X... Omo na you Be like say na you go dey fund DASA ooo

Damilare: Yes oo.., Buh not now sha [Laughing] Na smalls o

Stage Voice: Anyway, that's fine... Fr So, being a part 1 student, with this "choky" department, how do you balance academics and work?

Damilare: Ahh.. Great Great question Actually I dont know how God dey gimme that strength, all glory and appreciation to God. He is the one Cause its not easy oo blending both together, I wont lie.. 

Stage Voice: Smiles 😅😅😅 Work and academics dey drain person

Damilare: Swrs… It’s not easy

Stage Voice: So how has the students in the department contributed to the growth of your buinesst?

Damilare: Wow…Massively.. I can’t even explain I have my beat customers in my department I won’t lie 

During the long strike I was not making enough sales like when I am in school so my department folks have contributed greatly to my business without dem I no fit chop😂😂

Stage Voice: So what terrible experience have you had concerning your work so it serves as a lesson to others?

Damilare: Eshe oo… That was when I offended one of my good customer I think 2 months ago. I was not able to deliver her stock on the agreed date so she was so annoyed about it even she blocked me on WhatsApp up to this moment.. Actually it wasnt my fault I had issues with my dispatch rider then so I think that is my greatest mistake in my business so far. 

Stage Voice: Things like this happen a lot... Entrepreneurs are going through a lot

Damilare: Yeah  Buh I am disappointed in myself that day sha😢

Stage Voice: Normal... At least, that will help think of the areas you should improve on

Damilare: Yes oo Now I use DHL mostly naw or Quick

Stage Voice: That's cool… Which social media platform do you use for brand?

Damilare: Instagram WhatsApp, and Twitter

Stage Voice : Hi, How are you doing? Janet : Been good jare thanks Stage Voice : Great, how has your experience been as a fresher of Dramatic Arts? Janet : It has been fun, tedious and stressful. At first, I didn't like the way things were but later on I fell in love with the stress. I really love the initiation part, it wasn't easy but it really grinded me. So far Sha I'm loving it. Stage Voice : What was your best part of the initiation process? Janet : The overnights 🥰🥰🥰. For our set, overnight rehearsals weren't allowed but the coordinators had to do it secretly just for us to catch up on things and because of that the coordinators were kinda nice and very playful during this overnight rehearsals that we do.
