FYB OF THE WEEK

Stage Voice: Hi, I'm from Stage Voice. Can we meet you please?

Leinado: My name is Akinlalu Daniel Oluwamayomikun. A.k.a Leinado.

Stage Voice: Do you mind telling us your date of birth please?

Leinado: June 26.

Stage Voice: So tell us Daniel, how has it been from your 100lvl days till now?

Leinado: Well.....It hasn't been easy tho but then I thank God so far

Stage Voice: So, why Acting?

Leinado: Cause it has been a long time dream for me to put in reality.... Right from childhood

Stage Voice: And how has been the experience?

Leinado: I love it actually. I had the sense of acting...That was why I choose Dramatic Arts....I had no idea that I was going to be doing some other things like directing, dance, Technical and other parts of theatre....All I wanted was acting and I love the experience....Even though it hasn't been easy, I just have to push through because it is a dream coming to reality

Stage Voice: Wow! So you didn't contemplate between Acting and any other part of the Theatre?

Leinado: Actually I was thinking of Directing but then I just wanted to learn more about Acting and of course Acting is wide.

Stage Voice: Hmmm. Didn't see that coming. So what are your plans after school?

Leinado: Theatre and Photography.

Stage Voice: Hmm. Surely we will be on the lookout. Can you share any of your highlights/best moments here with us?

Leinado: Being in some set of plays are actually my best moments in Theatre.

Stage Voice: What do you wish could be different about the Department?

Leinado: Alot...starting from things that are very much important to the Theatre.

Stage Voice: So this is out of the blue, but in your opinion, when do you feel it's right for an Actor to "State his/her price" in his/her Career, before taking up a Movie/Stage Play Role?

Leinado: Stating your price is not the problem actually but can you give them what they want as an actor? If before given the role, you were asked about your price, there's nothing bad in it and if it's vice versa, there's nothing wrong in it..... In some cases it's not right and it's some cases it is the best. So as for them not to look down on you.

Stage Voice: Hmm, Okay. So apart from Theatre, what's your flip side?

Leinado: I love sports. Would love to be a footballer or basketballer.

Stage Voice: Oh Wow! So what Club do you support?

Leinado: Anywhere u see Ronaldo....But my main club is Manchester United.

Stage Voice: Lol... Okay. If you got a chance to meet your 11year old self again, what advice would you give him?

Leinado: Never give up on that footballer's dream and be careful and think well before making any decision.

Stage Voice: Aww. So who are your role models in the industry and generally of course.

Leinado: Hmmmm. Role Models? Well....I would say I don't really have tho but then they're some people that I look up to.The funny thing is I don't even know their names

Stage Voice: Lol....Okayyyy. So who would you like to give a shout-out to?

Leinado: Everyone!!!

Stage Voice: Lol....Sadly we've come to the end of your interview. It was really nice having you here.

Leinado: Awn awnnnnn. Greet NNAMDI for me o.

Stage Voice: Lol...we sure will.
